I read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer today. 1. Because ti is SUPER easy to read, so much skimming. And 2. It’s quite good fun to laugh at it’s discrepancies. All in all, I really dislike Twilight, but it’s quick and easy so I read it.
If you would like a real recommendation from me, read Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, or The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. They both = ♥ for me.

I live in the desert. What am I going to make a collage out of? Rocks and Cactus spikes? Um, no. I did go looking, and that was all I found, The leaves on things here are pitifully small. Hopefully I can complete tomorrows challenge.
On another note I AM switching to Blogger soon, so watch for that. I can import pretty much everything, but it will have the wrong dates and the comments won’t move. WAHH. It’s worth it though, WordPress is killing me.

I am not liking WordPress as a blogging platform, and am thinking of switching to Blogger, which has more options, and I am more familiar with. I need opinions though, is it worth it? Would y’all come and follow me there? I could set it up to redirect you to a blogger blog, when you come to WordPress. I don’t know, gah!
Next is, I am thinking of starting the 30 for 30 challenge from Kendi Everyday, what do you think? I feel like my wardrobe is really blah lately, and needs to be fixed, and that’s supposedly what it does. Is this a goes, or noes-goes? Would you like to read about it on top of the challenges? I think it would be good for days like yesterday, “write instructions on making a puppet”, how exciting! Not. lol, anyway, if you could comment, and give me your thoughts I would love you forever. ♥

Now this I can do. ♥ I am going to separate them into genres, starting with my all time favorite-country. I am going to include a snippet of my favorite part from each. I regret nothing.
Country:
George Strait- I’m here for a good time.
“I ain’t here for a long time
I’m here for a good time
So bring on the sunshine
To hell with the red wine
Pour me some moonshine”
Alabama – If you’re gonna play in Texas (you gotta have a fiddle in the band)
“So we dusted off our boots and put our cowboy hats on straight
Them Texans raised the roof when Jeff opened up his case
You say y’all all wanna two-step
You say ya wanna doe-si-doe
Well, here’s your fiddlin’ song before we go”
“On the 8th of November,
The angels were crying
As they carried his brothers away.
With the fire raining down
And the Hell all around
There were few men left standing that day.
Saw the eagle fly,
Through a clear, blue sky
1965, the 8th of November.”
“If you’ll be my Louisiana
I’ll be your Mississippi
You’ll be my little Loretta
I’ll be your Conway Twitty
You’ll be my sugar baby
I’ll be your sweet iced tea
You’ll be my honeysuckle
I’ll be your honey bee”
“his wife, she’s that wife that decorates on the 4th of july
but says “every day’s independence day”
she’s golden rule, teaches school,
some folks say it isn’t cool but she says the pledge of allegiance anyway.
got the red, white, and blue flyin’ high on the farm
semper fi tattooed on his left arm
spends a little more at the store for a tag in the back that says u.s.a.
won’t buy nothin’ that he can’t fix,
with WD-40 and a craftsman wrench
he ain’t prejudice he’s just, made in America”
“And when that summer sun starts to beatin’ down
And you don’t know what to do
Grab your swimming trunks, ice up that old Igloo
And drive until the map turns blue”
Whiskey Lullaby – Allison Krauss/Brad Paisley
“He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away her memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength he had to get up off his knees
We found him with his face down in the pillow
With a note that said I’ll love her till I die
And when we buried him beneath the willow
The angels sang a whiskey lullaby”
Red Dirt Road – Brooks and Dunn
“It’s where I drank my first beer
It’s where I found Jesus
Where I wrecked my first car
I tore it all to pieces
I learned the path to heaven
Is full of sinners and believers
Learned that happiness on earth
Ain’t just for high achievers (I heard)
I’ve come to know there’s life at both ends
Of that red dirt road.”
Country Must Be Country Wide – Brantley Gilbert
“From his Wranglers to his boots
He reminded me of Chris LeDoux
And that Copenhagen smile
Yeah, country must be country wide
In every state, there’s a station
Playin’ Cash, Hank, Willie, and Waylon
In foreign cars and four-wheel drives
There’s cowboys and hillbillies
From farm towns to big cities
There ain’t no doubt in my mind
Country must be country wide”
“I learned how to write it, when I first started school
Some bully didn’t like it, said it didn’t sound too cool
So I had to hit him, and all I said when the blood came
It’s my last name”
We Really Shouldn’t Be Doing This – George Strait
“Well…
We really shouldn’t be doing this and we both know why.
Just being close enough to think like this, enough to make you have to lie.
This kinda talk will lead us to somewhere,
We’re gettin’ way too close to going there
The farther off the better to resist, we really shouldn’t be doing this. “
Bare Foot Blue Jean Night – Jake Owen
“(Whoa-oh)
Never gonna grow up
(Whoa-oh)
Never gonna slow down
(Whoa-oh)
We were shinin’ like lighters in the dark
In the middle of a rock show
(Whoa-oh)
We were doin’ it right
(Whoa-oh)
We were comin’ alive
(Whoa-oh)
Yeah, caught up in a Southern summer, a barefoot, blue jean night”
Country Boys World – Jason Aldean
“You ever been to Rome Georgia
Picked peaches off the trees
Climbed the water tower in Paris Tennessee
Been to Florence Alabama
Drank muscadine wine
Just give me a chance to change your mind
So before you go and fly away girl
Let me show you ’round a country boy’s world”
Should’ve Been a Cowboy – Toby Kieth
“I might of had a sidekick with a funny name
Running wild through the hills chasing Jesse James
Ending up on the brink of danger
Riding shotgun for the Texas Rangers
Go west young man, haven’t you been told
California’s full of whiskey, women and gold
Sleeping out all night beneath the desert stars
With a dream in my eye and a prayer…
In my heart”
Rough and Ready – Trace Adkins
“Mudgrips – white-tip
Cigar stickin’ out of my face
Earnhardt racing sticker on the window
Banged up fender
4×4 – straight pipe roar
Primer and rust all over the door
Scarred up knuckles, Mack belt buckle
White t-shirt – Ain’t afraid to work
Got a “what-are-you-looking-at-pretty-boy” smirk”
“Sit in that six lane backed up traffic
Horns are honking, I’ve about had it
I’m looking for an exit sign
Gotta get out of here, get it all off my mind
And like a memory from your grandpa’s attic
A song comes slippin through the radio static
Changing my mood, a little George Strait 1982″
The Trouble With Girls – Scotty McCreery
“They’re hard to find, yet there’s so many of ’em
The way that you hate, that you already love ’em
But I guess that’s the way it’s suppose to be
They smile, that smile
They bat those eyes
They steal you with “hello”
They kill you with “goodbye”
They hook you with one touch and you can’t break free
Yeah, the trouble with girls is nobody loves trouble as much as me”
Never Gonna Leave This Bed – Maroon 5
“Wake you up
In the middle of the night to say
I will never walk away again
I’m never gonna leave this bed, oh”
Your Body is a Wonderland – John Meyer
“‘Cause if you want love
We’ll make it
Swimming a deep sea
Of blankets
Take all your big plans
And break ‘em
This is bound to be a while”
“I’m Feelin rough I’m Feelin raw I’m in the prime of my life.
Let’s make some music make some money find some models for wives.
I’ll move to Paris, shoot some heroin and fuck with the stars.
You man the island and the cocaine and the elegant cars.
This is our decision to live fast and die young.
We’ve got the vision, now let’s have some fun.
Yeah it’s overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?”
“There’s so many wars we fought
There’s so many things we’re not
But with what we have
I promise you that
We’re marchin on
We’re marchin on”
“This city is my city
And I love it, yeah I love it
I was born and raised here
I got it made here
And if I have my way, I’m gonna stay here”
Never Let You Go – Third Eye Blind
“I never let you turn around, your back on each other
That’s a good idea, break a promise to your mother
Turn around, your back on each other “
Dude Looks Like a Lady – Aerosmith
“Never judge a book by it’s cover
or who you gonna love by your lover
Sayin’ love put me wise to her love in disguise
She had the body of a Venus, Lord imagine my surprise.”
Changing – The Airborne Toxic Event
“All these buckets of rain, you can’t forget about it, you say I never tried.
I am a gentleman, didn’t I answer every time that you call, pick you up when you fall
But you never listen at all
You were just always talking about changing, changing
Guess what I am the same man, same man.
Changing, changing
Guess what I am the same man, same man.
Changing, changing
Guess what I am the same man, same man. “
Should I Stay or Should I go? – The Clash
“Darling you gotta let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
Ill be here til the end of time
So you got to let know
Should I stay or should I go?”
Planetary (GO!) – My Chemical Romance
“Who they want you to be
Who they wanted to see
Kill the party with me and never go home!
Who they want you to be
Who they wanted to see
Just leave the party with me, and never go home!”
Everything Else:
My Boy Builds Coffins – Florence & the Machine
“My boy builds coffins he makes them all day
But it’s not just for work and it isn’t for play
He’s made one for himself
One for me too
One of these days he’ll make one for you
For you, for you, for you”
Pumped Up Kicks – Foster the People
“All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you’d better run, better run, outrun my gun.
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you’d better run, better run, faster than my bullet.”
“I am not a whore
I am not a whore
I am not a whore
I am not a whore
I am not a whore
I am not a whore
But I like to do it”
Super Massive Black Hole – Muse
“Oh baby dont you know I suffer?
Oh baby can you hear me moan?
You caught me under false pretenses
How long before you let me go?
You set my soul alight
You set my soul alight
(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive”
I hope you appreciate this. I spent forever on this. Checking links and whatnot. ♥ Enjoy
Love you all!

What?? I honestly don’t know what the ffffuuu this adventure is. Hang found objects from tree branches? What? What is a “found” object, is that like found art? I don’t know. I just don’t know.
How about you guys give me suggestions of adventures to do, and I will add them to the list as replacements for the stupid ones. Please? Thank you.
Halloween is coming up. I is excited, I am going to start decorating in the next week or so, Martha Stewart style. I love Martha. Do you? Her Halloween stuff is the shit.
Anyway, if you want to give me suggestions, either leave them in the comments or email me at 150adventures@gmail.com.

I went to a park today just so I could do this properly. Guess what? This hurts like hell.
This was me:
My head felt like it was about to explode. I was fine ’till about two minutes, them BAM.
But when I conquered the bar I turned to it, and was like:
Well, not really, but you know what I mean.

My scanner froze, wahhh. Anyway, no picture, but that’s okay it was a crap picture. An absolutely terrible example of art in modern society. Just trust me, you didn’t want to see it. Just in case though here is a short description: It was a stick couch, with a stick girl hanging upside down off of it. The end.
-Shelly
P.S. To make it even more crap it was on lined paper.
